Katie and Tyler - Founders Hall

January 24th, 2010

Katie and Tyler celebrated their marriage in the midst of the holiday season with a beautiful ceremony at Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta in late December. After a few portraits at the church, the couple headed to the Roswell Founder’s Hall for a festive reception complete with a live band singing until late in the evening. Tami from the Founder’s Hall was wonderful to work with, and I really enjoyed shooting the day alongside Jessica from Jessica Horwitz Photography. Congratulations to Katie and Tyler - you guys were awesome to work with!

Audra and Sean - Four Seasons Hotel

January 22nd, 2010

Audra and Sean’s wedding reception had everyone on their feet and for good reason. The couple came in to the room to the theme of Thriller after having been featured in their own mini-movie based on the original Thriller video. The video wrapped up, the band started playing, smoke and lights started to flash and Audra and Sean entered in true superstar fashion. Backing up a few hours, the couple prepared for the day and held their ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel in Buckhead. Janet and her team from Tony Brewer and Company did an amazing job of transforming the already elegant luxury hotel in to a detailed winter wonderland appropriate for this December wedding. Be sure to check out the opening chapter of Audra and Sean’s wedding album below.

Jami and Blake - Sunset Hills CC

November 29th, 2009

This was my first time shooting in Carrollton, GA and I must say it was an awesome weekend! Jami and Blake saw each other for the first time on their wedding day in the aisle of the Carrollton First United Methodist Church. After the ceremony, the couple boarded a trolley and headed to the Sunset Hills Country Club to party the night away. Jami and Blake were a blast to work with, but I also wanted to thank their families once again for being such great hosts. Check out the opening chapter of Jami and Blake’s wedding video below.

Karen and Paul - Montaluce Winery

October 14th, 2009

Karen and Paul were married at the Montaluce Winery in Dahlonega, GA. I always love shooting at this venue! The couple saw each other for the first time of the day at an estate on the Montaluce property. The home provided an awesome backdrop for their pre-ceremony photo session. Karen and Paul said their vows on the winery’s dock overlooking the lake and then partied all night on the outdoor dance floor.

I had the pleasure of working with photographer Daniel Stancil during the day. He took some very cool engagement shots of Karen and Paul. These were arranged throughout the winery to add a personal touch to the venue. I also had the privilege to work once again with Kymberly from Over the Threshold Weddings. Kymberly did an awesome job of keeping the day running smoothly and is always a lot of fun to work with. Below is a brief video featuring highlights of Karen and Paul’s special day. What a wonderful couple - a huge congrats to you both!

Sharone and Scott - Westin Buckhead

September 10th, 2009

I recently worked with Sharone and Scott during their late summer wedding at the Westin Buckhead. What a fun couple! Sharone and Scott met before the ceremony on the grand staircase in the hotel lobby. From there, we took advantage of the stylish hotel and surrounding grounds to capture some very cool shots. One of my favorites was when the two met halfway on the escalator - be sure to check it out in their opening sequence below! Kathy Sachs from Tying the Knot Wedding Consultants was wonderful to work with and had every detail set perfectly. Congratulations again to Sharone and Scott - thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!
