What could be more spectacular than a full fireworks show to celebrate your marriage shared by thousands of your neighbors? Stephanie and Brad were married at the JW Marriott in Buckhead. After the signing of the Ketubah, an elegant ceremony and dinner with family and friends, the party moved outside to enjoy the annual Lenox Mall fireworks show celebrating the 4th of July. Kati and Will - Auburn Marriott at Grand National

I recently took a trip to Auburn, Alabama to share a beautiful weekend with Kati and Will. I met the couple when filming Kati’s sister’s recent wedding. Their families are absolutely amazing and I was thrilled to hear that Kati and Will were engaged to get married. The ceremony was celebrated at Auburn UMC with the reception to follow at the Auburn Marriott at Grand National. In between a bit of rain on the wedding day, we were able to get some great shots on the Auburn campus. Congrats to this awesome couple and while I am a Georgia Bulldog, I will still give a shout out to War Eagle!

Jenny and Jared - Westin Buckhead

I think my favorite statement from Jenny and Jared’s early summer wedding was “You can’t make Sugar without a Grus”. It just so happened that these were Jenny and Jared’s last names, and after a few minutes of thinking about it everyone at the ceremony got the joke. Jenny and Jared were united at the Westin Buckhead in Atlanta. Below is a brief look at their beautiful day.

Mary Ann and Bijal - Payne-Corley House

Mary Ann and Bijal were joined at the Payne-Corley House earlier this summer. Although we had a bit of weather at the start of the day, the weather cleared up just in time for the ceremony under the covered porch. Bijal set up a video conference for his father to be able to participate in the event from thousands of miles away. After the ceremony, Mary Ann and Bijal took a break to change into formal traditional garments before dancing with friends at their reception. Laura and Kris - Wimbish House

This was my first time working at the Inman Park United Methodist Church - what a cool location! Laura and Kris wanted to incorporate the history of Atlanta in to their wedding day. Their choice of venues, including the Wimbish House in Midtown, were a great backdrop to their fairytale wedding. The evening was simply beautiful and Nicole from Peachtree Weddings and Events was wonderful to work with once again. Congrats to Laura and Kris!

Laura and Matt - St. Ives Country Club

Laura and Matt celebrated their marriage earlier this spring at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in downtown Atlanta. After the ceremony, the festivities moved north to the St. Ives Country Club. I love shooting at St. Ives as the grounds are always top-notch and the staff likewise. I was fortunate to work with one of my favorite photographers - Jason Spruill - once again on this shoot. A big thanks to Laura and Matt for letting me share your day with you and congrats to you both!

Seeta and Sanjay - Westin Peachtree Plaza

Seeta and Sanjay’s wedding weekend started with a traditional Sangeet on Friday evening. The program included several cultural dances by family members and friends. The wedding continued Saturday morning with Sanjay’s horse-back procession through the streets of downtown Atlanta to the Westin Peachtree Plaza. After the customary Hindu wedding ceremony, the couple took a short break before continuing the party in the ballrooms of the Westin. I loved shooting all of the color and intricate detail from this weekend celebration. Congratulations to Seeta, Sanjay and family!

Amy and Josh - Flint Hill

One of our first weddings of 2010 was with Amy and Josh at Flint Hill in Norcross. This was an awesome couple to work with - both Amy and Josh were laid back, casual and creative. Katie and Tyler - Founders Hall

Katie and Tyler celebrated their marriage in the midst of the holiday season with a beautiful ceremony at Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta in late December. After a few portraits at the church, the couple headed to the Roswell Founder’s Hall for a festive reception complete with a live band singing until late in the evening. Tami from the Founder’s Hall was wonderful to work with, and I really enjoyed shooting the day alongside Jessica from Jessica Horwitz Photography. Congratulations to Katie and Tyler!

Audra and Sean - Four Seasons Hotel

Audra and Sean’s wedding reception had everyone on their feet and for good reason. The couple came in to the room to the theme of Thriller after having been featured in their own mini-movie based on the original Thriller video. The video wrapped up, the band started playing, smoke and lights started to flash and Audra and Sean entered in true superstar fashion. Backing up a few hours, the couple prepared for the day and held their ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel in Buckhead. Janet and her team from Tony Brewer and Company did an amazing job of transforming the already elegant luxury hotel in to a detailed winter wonderland appropriate for this December wedding.
